Now that you have watched the 2 video clips of "I Am Sam" in "Pre-activity", in your own group, create a 2-minute video trailer for "Flowers for Algernon".
The trailer should highlight scenes which your group deems important and generally summarises Daniel Keyes' short story, "Flowers for Algernon".
Your group should think about why you include the scenes you select.
Once the trailer is created, register for an account in Youtube & upload the trailer into it.
The trailer will be played in class & your group will be required to explain the rationale for picking the selected scenes in the trailer to the class during presentation.
You are encouraged to refer to the links of "Flowers for Algernon" in the "Introduction" & 'Pre-activity' page for some ideas as to which scenes to consider for your trailer.
You can choose to get people to act out the scenes, create an animation, or in any way you want! Let your creative juice flow!
You are also strongly encouraged to use your own recording device. However, if you do not possess any, you can sign out the recording device from school.
Here are some links for you to find out more about trailers & how to use "Windows Movie Maker" to edit your recorded video.
