Do this task after you have completed your tasks, tested your creation on your classmates, or presented the trailer to the class, & gotten feedbacks from the class of your test or trailer.

Write an individual reflection. The following steps are meant as a guide for writing your reflection, & you are encouraged to go beyond the demands listed in the steps below.

Step 1: Reflect on what you learnt during the creation process of your assigned task and how this insight gave you an understanding of the short story, “Flowers For Algernon”. For example, how the creation of the trailer helped you to understand certain instances/issues in the text &/or how you characterised people.

Step 2: Reflect on how you felt when you sat through the tests your classmates gave you, & when you were told of your results based on the tests. Relate this personal experience to what you make of Charlie Gordon’s experience in the text. Discuss your change in empathy or opinion towards Charlie, if any.
For those who are watching the trailers created by your classmates, reflect on whether the trailers summarise the short story holistically. Why/Why not?

Step 3: All in all, what do you make of the idea of intelligence? Apply your opinion to read the different characters in the text.

Step 4: Piece all of this coherently, with evidence wherever possible. Bear in mind that your use of language has to be appropriate (No SMS language).
